NCSP: standards

Standards for providers and commissioners chlamydia screening, part of National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP).

The NCSP standards support an evidence-based and cost-effective approach to delivering chlamydia screening. This document outlines the minimum standards for local implementation and should be used by commissioners and providers to form the basis for local screening plans.

Providers and potential providers of chlamydia screening (including those providing internet based testing) are recommended to check with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) whether or not their activities need to be registered with them.
