This information will be passed to Exeter University so they can contact you about participating in a project to find out what opening the King Charles III England Coast Path has meant for landowners, users and those involved in looking after the trail.

The processing of your personal data is based on consent. Consent has been given for your personal data to be processed to enable researchers at Exeter University to contact you about conducting an interview.

Consent to process your data

The processing of your personal data is based on consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing recordsanddataprotection@naturalengland.org.uk and Natural England will not contact you again in connection with this project.

Who Natural England shares your personal data with

Natural England will share the personal data collected under this privacy notice with Exeter University who are carrying out an evaluation to find out what opening the King Charles III England Coast Path has meant for landowners, users and those involved in looking after the trail.

Exeter University will contact you separately about participating in this study. You can view the consent form for taking part.

Natural England respects your personal privacy when responding to access to information requests. We only share information when necessary to meet the statutory requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

How long Natural England holds personal data

Natural England will keep your personal data for three years after the end of your grant or agreement.

What happens if you do not provide the data

If you do not provide the data Natural England will not be able to contact you about the project.
