Recruitment process

Sample framework

During the proposal stage, the following sample information was agreed: 50 interviews with NFS officers from all 9 ROCUs, officers and delivery partners from CoLP and NCA and senior delivery partners from CoLP and the NCA. Based on this we propose the following sample:

Communication plan

Recruitment for Home Office

  1. Home Office Analysis and Insight (HOAI) to identify appropriate Home Office colleagues to take part in interviews

  2. HOAI to send email to potential participants with option for Opt-in

  3. Once participants agree to take part and consent to their information being shared, HOAI to copy in Ipsos

  4. Ipsos to coordinate interviews

Recruitment for CoLP

  1. HOAI and Ipsos to work with CoLP colleagues identify potential participants

  2. Ipsos to request CoLP colleagues to send

Recruitment for ROCUs

  1. HOAI to send initial communication to National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) lead for ROCUs

  2. Ipsos to present at Regional Economic Crime Unit (RECU) leads meeting on Friday, 11 October 2024 asking if RECU leads are happy for their contact information to be shared by CoLP

  3. Ipsos pick up coordination with RECU leads to identify 4 potential participants. RECU leads send email to potential participants using opt-in approach for consent to share. Once participants agree to participate, RECU leads to copy in Ipsos.

  4. Ipsos to coordinate interviews

Recruitment NCA/NECC

  1. HOAI to identify appropriate NCA/NECC colleagues to take part in interviews

  2. HOAI to send email to potential participants with option for Opt-in

  3. Once participants agree to take part and consent to their information being shared, HOAI to copy in Ipsos

  4. Ipsos to coordinate interviews
