Details

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy established a Task and Finish Group earlier this year to better understand how to quantify the amount and permanence of greenhouse gas removals (GGRs).

The group made a number of recommendations on how to develop a comprehensive approach to monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of negative emissions that will support the development and delivery of GGRs.

This report details the discussions and conclusions of the group, as well as setting out its key recommendations.
