This notice replaces MIN 685 (F) from 1 August 2023.
This MIN expires 31 July 2024.
Summary
This notice sets out the examination dates for Fishing Certificates of Competency for the academic year commencing 1 September 2023.
Introduction
- The Annex to this notice sets out the pattern of examinations to be held in the academic year commencing 1 September 2023 for Deck Officer (Fishing Vessel) Certificates of Competency.
- The dates have been arranged following consultation with various representative organisations of the fishing industry.
- The examinations are administered by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and are held at their approved examination centres.
