This research was commissioned by Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) as part of the follow up to the Kay review of equity markets. It looks at the ‘metrics’ and ‘models’ used by investors to measure the performance or companies and investment funds, and suggests ways to concentrate on long-term returns for investors.
