Details

This document explains how the DHSC will recognise MPEs as competent, as required by medical exposure regulations on radiation safety.

Applications to be recognised as a new MPE can be made to RPA2000.

Certificates from RPA2000 are valid for 5 years. Discussion on renewal of certificates is ongoing and will be agreed once transition of all those on the list of existing MPEs has taken place.
