This guidance does not aim to suggest what must be monitored, but rather how surveys must be completed through standardised methodology for collecting data, and standardised approaches to recording and storing data across six environmental receptors. Standardisation will be applied to wind farms within MMO jurisdiction and is focused on post-consent monitoring, which the MMO has the most ability to influence and where data is readily available to the MMO.
