Details

This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 17 January 2016.

Dover to Folkestone MCZ is an inshore site located off the coast of Kent. This site covers an area of 20 km².

The site includes the wave-cut intertidal chalk platforms that form an almost continuous reef between Kingsdown, Deal in the north east and Folkestone Warren in the south west.
