Details

Stalking Protection Orders (SPOs) were introduced by the Stalking Protection Act 2019 and came into force on 20 January 2020. The police can apply to the magistrates’ court to issue a Stalking Protection Order which would require someone to stop doing certain things and/or to do certain things.

This page includes the following documents about the operation of SPOs:

  • management information on the numbers of SPOs applied for and issued, and the number of court receipts relating to potential breaches, for February 2020 to December 2021
