Lulworth Range walks and Tyneham village are open to the public every weekend with the exception of the following:
- 17 to 18 February 2024
- 16 to 17 March 2024
- 8 to 9 June 2024
- 14 to 15 September 2024
- 12 to 13 October 2024
- 16 to 17 November 2024
Lulworth Range walks and Tyneham village are also open every day over the following periods (all dates are inclusive):
- Christmas: 16 December 2023 to 1 January 2024
- Easter: 29 March to 14 April 2024
- Bank Holiday: 4 to 6 May 2024
- Spring stand-down: 25 May to 2 June 2024
- Summer stand-down: 26 July to 1 September 2024
- Christmas: 21 December 2024 to 5 Jan 2025
On conclusion of weekday firing, the gates to the range walks are opened as near as possible to 4.30pm on the Friday afternoon. However, this is dependent on completion of range clearance and weather. The range walks will remain open until 8am on the Monday morning.
Tyneham village gate permits vehicle access. It is opened at 9am when no military activity is taking place and is closed at dusk each evening. The exhibitions in Tyneham School and Tyneham Church are open from 10am until 4pm on non-firing days.
