The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Mone Brothers Limited.

The variation is to add a Physical Chemical treatment closed-system aggregate wash plant to this existing Inert landfill and Physical treatment facility. The site proposes to increase the annual tonnage from 74,999 to 150,000 tonnes and add extra non-hazardous waste types.
