The policy toolkit for Scotland provides a non-exhaustive list of the levers available to Towns Boards in Scotland to help deliver on the aims of the Long-Term Plan for Towns. Town Boards in Scotland should use this document to help create their Long-Term Plans. The toolkit has been created alongside colleagues in Scottish Government and Scotland’s Towns Partnership.

The initial prospectus published in October 2023 and additional guidance was published in December 2023.
