This report sets out the findings of the Commissioner’s 3-month review and makes recommendations for the improvement of children’s social care services in Croydon.
It follows an Ofsted report published in September 2017 that judged the overall effectiveness of the council’s children’s social care services to be inadequate.
DfE issued a statutory direction to the London borough of Croydon on 25 January 2018.
