This letter to responsible officers at awarding organisations explains Ofqual’s plans to remove the Qualifications and Credit Framework regulatory arrangements (QCF rules) after considering responses to our consultation.

The decision to remove the QCF rules was made because they do not always support the development and delivery of valid qualifications. Please see our original consultation, a summary of our decision and an analysis of consultation responses.
