Farewell letter from Anne Williams CBE, retired National Director for Learning Disabilities with the Department of Health (October 2008 to June 2011). Anne was extensively involved in the development of Valuing People Now and one of her key responsibilities was to lead its delivery across health and social care. Her letter highlights achievements, and continuing progress.
