Representatives of the Government of the UK and the Government of Rwanda held a meeting of the joint committee on 21 February 2024.
The joint committee received a detailed update from both the UK Government and Government of Rwanda on the progress made towards implementing and ratifying the treaty. This included discussions on the new case working system, appeals body and the Monitoring Committee.
The Government of Rwanda provided an overview of the Economic Transformation and Integration Fund (ETIF) spending.
