Works (whether temporary or permanent) within the fluvial floodplain and/or 8 metres of the Pakenham Stream (main river).
Description of activity
Compensatory wet woodland and fen meadow creation within the floodplain of the Pakenham Stream. The works consists of land sculpting (cut or fill compartments) within the floodplain, bank repairs to approximately 8m of the east bank and temporary storage of soil arisings in the floodplain of the main river. The works are expected to be begin between 1st June 2026 and 31st December 2027 and will take approximately 18 weeks to complete following commencement.
