This evaluation, commissioned by the Cabinet Office, Social Investment Business and Big Society Capital, examines the main learnings of the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund.
The report was launched at the Social Capital Markets Conference (SOCAP) 2015 in San Francisco, the largest social entrepreneur and impact conference in the world.
The Fund has helped to unlock £233 million in investments and contracts for charities and social enterprises. It provided grants to 155 ventures to help them grow and increase their impact.
