On 10 March 2014, the Home Office Permanent Secretary commissioned Stephen Taylor, a former Director at the Audit Commission, to establish the full extent of the Home Office’s knowledge of the Special Demonstration Squad, a Metropolitan Police Service undercover unit that operated between 1968 and 2008. This report details his findings.
