The 2025 dataset differs from the previous year's because some regulatory data is now published as part of the 'Regulatory activity in all types of children’s homes and supported accommodation providers' publication. Additional tables have also been included for this year only.

From January 2027 regulatory data will no longer be included in this dataset. All regulatory data will be available in our publication of Regulatory activity in all types of children’s homes and supported accommodation providers, published annually.

This annual publication covers inspection and regulatory activities for different periods.

It includes:

• details of children’s social care and supported accommodation providers, and their most recent inspection
• inspections and outcomes for all regulated and inspected children’s social care and supported accommodation provision
• regulatory and supplementary social care information
