What is changing
HMRC is helping insolvency practitioners by streamlining the way we deal with insolvency in relation to the Economic Crime Levy.
We have now introduced an online form which must be used to:
- submit Economic Crime Levy returns
- cancel a registration for the Economic Crime Levy
What we need you to do
We have created section 28 in the insolvency practitioner’s handbook. It includes a link to guidance about when an entity liable for the Economic Crime Levy has become insolvent.
Make sure you use the correct details on the form so that we can deal with your correspondence as quickly as possible.
