Pay, terms and conditions for NHS staff on Agenda for Change contracts are determined by the government in the light of the recommendations from NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB), which takes evidence from the 4 UK governments, trade unions and NHS Employers before making its recommendations.

This report is the Department of Health’s evidence to the NHSPRB for the 2016 to 2017 pay round.
