This data template is for submitting annual screening programme standards data for the NHS Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy Screening (IDPS) Programme and the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP).
The NHS Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy Screening (IDPS) Programme introduced new screening standards in April 2016. The format of these standards was revised to include clear metrics that assess the screening pathway and to help providers and commissioners to identify where improvements are needed.
To measure performance against these standards, the IDPS programme has introduced a new data collection process, which replaces the NAISM data collection process.
Requests for data will be sent to screening co-ordinators via the regional quality assurance teams in mid-April and instructions for data submission will be included in the data request. Screening co-ordinators should download and complete this version of the data collection template, and data should be returned to the programme by the end of June at the latest.
