Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt launched the review of Foreign & Commonwealth Office support for persecuted Christians on 30 January 2019. The Rt Revd Philip Mountstephen, Bishop of Truro will lead it.

The review aims to map levels of persecution and other discrimination against Christians in key countries around the world. It will provide an objective assessment of the impact and levels of FCO support, and make recommendations to the Foreign Secretary.
