This guidance provides details of the methodology used to review the evidence that underpins ‘Delivering better oral health’.

In common with clinical guidelines worldwide, it adopts the GRADE (Grades of Recommendation Assessment, Development and Evaluation) system to assess the certainty of the evidence, and uses the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE II) principles as a code of conduct for the guideline development process.
