This improvement notice requires the council to take steps to improve its children’s social care services. It follows a 20 September 2016 report by Ofsted which judged the overall effectiveness of children’s services in Wirral council to be inadequate.
This notice was lifted on 29 July 2019 following a re-inspection by Ofsted.
