Details
This improvement notice requires the council to take steps to improve its children’s services. It follows a report by Ofsted, issued on 9 December 2016 which judged the overall effectiveness of children’s services in Tameside metropolitan borough council to be inadequate.
This improvement notice was lifted on 1 July 2019 following a re-inspection by Ofsted in which services were judged as requires improvement to be good.
