The improvement notice we issued on 10 April 2014 replaces this one.

Ofsted inspected Rochdale’s arrangements for the protection of children and published a report on 21 December 2012. Ofsted judged the council as ‘inadequate’ overall.

Inadequate performance has also been identified through adoption scorecards for 2012.
