The Ministry of Justice coordinates the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for the United Kingdom.

The UK last underwent the UPR in 2012. The final UPR recommendations and the government’s response (as “Addendum 1” and “Annex 1” under “Outcome of the review”) are published on the United Nations’ website.

In August 2014, the United Kingdom submitted a mid term report on the recommendations received at the conclusion of the UPR in 2012.
