This report provides a detailed route description of the preferred route for High Speed Two (HS2) Phase 2b between Crewe and Manchester. This extends from the end of the Phase 2a route, south of the existing Network Rail station at Crewe, to Manchester and the West Coast Main Line (WCML) near Golborne. The report also includes a description of the stations and depots.
