How design can shape the HS2 project: 'Design Vision'

HS2 Design Vision


The Design Vision sets out HS2 Ltd’s aspiration for designing the UK’s national high-speed rail network. It also details how HS2 Ltd can deliver value for money by applying the best in worldwide design and construction.

The report discusses how focusing on 3 design aspects, HS2 will be a national project that will stand the test of time:

  1. People: designing for everyone to benefit and enjoy
  2. Place: designing for a sense of space that improves quality of life
  3. Time: designing to adapt for future generations
