Design at HS2
Every design task is critical at HS2 and every design discipline is covered in our interpretation of design, set out in 'HS2 Design Vision'.
The High Speed Two (HS2) principle objective is ’to design and deliver an integrated system which fulfils the requirements of the sponsor, stakeholders and the internal HS2 transport programme.’
This will be fulfilled by embedding the HS2 Design Vision into design delivery strategies, project requirements and design ambitions to ensure quality of output.
Design leadership is integral to all HS2 activities including procurement, construction, systems and risk management. The independent Design Panel will review and critique outcomes at key stages in the design process.
