The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Chapel Road Enterprise Ltd.

1.16.12 The variation seeks to add a physical treatment activity to the permit for the purpose of shredding wood and green wastes of a similar nature. The applicants also seek to remove the restriction to allow storage and treatment of wastes outside and add multiple EWC codes relating to ashes, mixed Construction and Demolition waste and WEEE and batteries. The variation will not alter the annual throughput, but due to the addition of an activity and removal of restrictions may increase storage on site.
