Organisations based in Great Britain that do not manage a studbook but are authorised to issue horse passports in the United Kingdom

Organisations that do not manage a studbook but are authorised to issue identity-only passports for “breeding and production” horses in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262 (Article 5(1)(c)) in Great Britain (retained in UK law)

In turn we collect and store all horse passport data on the government’s Central Equine Database. This database can only be accessed by the UK government, devolved administrations and enforcement authorities (local authorities and police).
