Consultants from AEA Technology Environment examined current research and development activities to compile a database of air pollution abatement technologies that have the potential to become the Best Available Technology (BAT) in 3 to 10+ years. The project was an information gathering exercise aimed at testing potential methods for Horizon Scanning within Environment Agency Science.
