The table of allocations shows two local authorities receiving nil tariff for the quarter, this is a result of having no new arrivals in their area during Quarter 1.

Eight local authorities have a negative tariff allocation, this was as a result of further quality assurance which identified 6 local authority claims made in error in previous quarters which were then adjusted in the Q1 cumulative total. Two local authorities adjusted their own figures following internal reviews of their reporting,

In addition to the allocations set out above, we have allocated a total of £32,074.50 this quarter to English local authorities in additional funding for eligible minors who were placed in local authority care as a result of a sponsorship breakdown or safeguarding concern, in line with published guidance.

The number of thank you payments may be less than the number of sponsoring households due to delays in authorities making thank you payments, or sponsors not accepting thank you payments.

The data in this publication will not match the weekly data published on the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme.

This is because the data are collected over a different period of time, and this data is returned directly by local authorities whereas the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme data is management information from operational systems.
