Details

Before you start, read the guidance on the process of notifying Homes England of a ‘relevant event’ or constitutional change.

Completing the form

The single notification form can be used for advance notification:

  • of all relevant events
  • by any type of provider

A quarterly notification form is also available. This can be requested by sending an email to Grant_Notifications@homesengland.gov.uk.

The quarterly notification form can be used for retrospective notification and is limited to:

  • relevant events — O (Disposal), S (Redemption of equity loan product ), T (Right to Acquire or Voluntary Right to Buy)
  • use by Registered Providers only

You must provide as much information as possible about the grant-funded units to allow us to identify the grant.

You must include a written calculation of any grant amount and give details of:

  • how you divided the grant between the units on the scheme (where relevant)
  • any eligible deductions
  • any previous grant recovery
  • whether you intend to repay or recycle the grant

You must fully complete the notification form. If information is missing or incomplete we will return it to you and ask for further details.

For-profit and unregistered providers

For-profit and unregistered providers also need to submit details of uplift calculations and include additional documentation such as the valuation and a breakdown of how grant has been apportioned between units.

Submit the form

After you have completed the notification form, email it to the historical grants team.

If you’re notifying us of a constitutional change

You must complete the notification of constitutional change form.
