HomeBuy Direct was an affordable housing assistance product from the Homes and Communities Agency, working in partnership with housebuilders. It aims to make more new affordable homes available to eligible buyers priced out of the housing market.

Scheme fees and charges

  • Redemption (repaying your loan): £250
  • Staircase: £250
  • Remortgage: £115
  • Sublet: £75
  • Home improvements: £75
  • Transfer of Equity (change of ownership): £75
