These draft assessment procedures for heat network substations detail the activities to be undertaken to provide assurance that the obligations in the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS) Technical Specifications are fulfilled.
A substation is a connection between distribution networks which contains an exchange of thermal energy (for example, via plate heat exchangers) together with other necessary equipment.
The documents are for use by:
- heat network assessors
- heat network developers
- heat network designers
- heat network operators
These assessment procedures correspond to the draft HNTAS technical specifications for heat network substations.
