Details
This report summarises HDV infection in England. It provides an overview of currently available surveillance data. It also provides recommendations for further work as part of a wider approach to achieving and sustaining elimination of hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.
This data will also be important to support commissioning and delivery of the new treatment ‘bulevirtide’ for chronic hepatitis D in people with a fibrosis stage of F2 recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
