Ideal HP Acceleration Project
Owner: Ideal Boilers Limited and Gledhill Building Products Limited
Amount: £5,173,518
Location: Hull and Blackpool
The project is focused on accelerating manufacture of Ideal’s R290 monobloc air source heat pump designed specifically for the UK market and increasing capacity of the associated heat pump pre-plumbed cylinders. It will include infrastructure and equipment costs to produce air source heat pumps in Ideal’s existing plant in Hull and pre-plumbed cylinders at Gledhill Building Products Limited, a sister company based in Blackpool.
Compressor Capacity Extension
Owner: Copeland Limited
Amount: £4,614,000
Location: Cookstown, Northern Ireland
The project is focused on expanding Copeland’s capacity to manufacturer compressors, a key component of a heat pumps. It will include infrastructure and equipment costs to introduce new production lines and investing in laboratory testing facilities to allow the compressors to be safety tested on site.
