Details

Mokume gane is a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. This guidance seeks to clarify the position on the hallmarking of mokume gane articles following the introduction of the mixed-metals amendment to the Hallmarking Act in 2007. It contains directions on articles consisting of a mixture of more than 1 precious metal, and a mixture of precious and base metals.
