Details

The government has launched a grant scheme to help public sector bodies in the UK to install plug-in vehicle chargepoints on their estate. Plug-in vehicles, including battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles are a key part of the government’s plans for a modern transport system that promotes economic growth while delivering on its climate change targets. Public sector bodies may receive up to 75% off the total capital costs of chargepoints plus associated installation costs. This will help them to prepare their estate and unlock the opportunities that plug-in vehicles can provide for their fleets, staff or visitors. This document provides guidance to public sector bodies on how to apply for the grant.
