The proposition helps people to decide if part or all of their planned publishing should be on GOV.UK or not.

It explains:

  • the criteria for content published on GOV.UK, for example putting the user’s needs first
  • what does not go on GOV.UK, for example general advice
  • how to request an exemption, and what happens if you do not have one
