The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from SK Batt.

Section 6.9 A(1)(a)(i) Rearing of poultry intensively in an installation with more than 40,000 places. This application is for a new bespoke intensive farming activity for 160,000 broiler places. The broilers will be kept in 4 houses. No slurry or manure will be stored on site – it will be exported off-site.
