The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Allstone Sands Gravels Aggregates Trading Co. Ltd.

The site is currently operating under the standard rules permit SR2010 No.12. Operations include crushing, washing and screening of inert and non-hazardous waste to produce recycled aggregates. The Operator has applied to vary their standard rules permit to a bespoke permit in order to maintain soil washing as an activity. The operator also wishes to add an additional waste code to the permit (17 09 04) and to increase the size of their permitted area.
