This letter and payment directions inform primary care trusts (PCTs) of the NHS sight test fee, NHS domiciliary fees and pre-registration supervisors allowance for 2013 to 2014.

The letter, from the Head of Opthalmic Services at the Department of Health to PCT chief executives and NHS Commissioning Board area teams, gives the continuing education and training grant which may be claimed in 2013 and the addition of Universal Credit to the eligibility criteria.
