Details

Following a public consultation  the Government is bringing forward proposals to increase the maximum stake for category B3 gaming machines, that is machines with a maximum stake limit of £1 and a maximum prize limit of £500, and a recalibration of B3 gaming machine entitlements for adult gaming centres (AGCs) and bingo clubs.

The following draft statutory instruments and Explanatory Memorandum were laid in Parliament on [7 June 2011] for approval.

 

A full Impact Assessment of the Government’s preferred option has been prepared. This also contains a summary of the responses to the public consultation (Annex 2). 

The Government will publish consultation responses in full in due course, although personal details will be withheld to ensure the privacy of individuals.
