This guidance sets out how the government funds apprenticeships and apprenticeship units in England for employers who do not pay the Apprenticeship Levy.
It explains the policy that applies to apprentices who started on or after 1 August 2025 and for learners who started an apprenticeship unit on or after 28 April 2026.
